We’ve Moved!

With the recent opening of the Silver Spurs Equestrian Center, in Woodstock, IL the Midwest Renegades have relocated.  All of our teams now call Silver Spurs our home.  This new facility in Woodstock recently opened it’s doors and promises to offer improved opportunities for our teams to hone their skills throughout the year.

We are thrilled to be a part of this new venue, and are looking forward to the Silver Spurs Grand Opening event later this year.

2015 Scholarship Awarded

The MidWest Renegades 2015 Scholarship award was recently awarded to Larissa Pietrzak.

Bev Vlahos, the Renegades team founder and manager commented on the award,

My goal in in designing the scholarship for the MidWest Renegades was to find someone who represented the word “team”.  The committee and I chose Larissa as our recipient because she not only displays enormous team spirit, but her whole life is dedicated to helping others be the best they can be. She has an incredibly kind heart, and steps into whatever role is asked of her without complaint. She continually encourages others in the team as she herself always gives 120%. I can think of no better person than Larissa Pietrzak to represent the MidWest Renegades Equestrian Drill Team, and to be our 2015 recipient of our scholarship funds.

Congratulations to Larissa, and a hearty thank you for her continuing contributions to the teams.

New Website

Today, the MidWest Renegades Equestrian Drill Team is proud to roll out our new and improved web site.   While many of the members of the organization have been working the past several weeks to turn the concept of a new website, and new web presence into a reality for most today’s unveiling, at the team Holiday party, will the the first time that they see the new look.

Keeping with the traditional viewing of the past season’s performance highlights, the party marks a time of celebration for the teams.  An ending to one performance season, and a shift to preparing for the next season.  While every performance is unique, the highlight compilations present the capabilities of each team in a variety of venues.  Feel free to view video posted on the Gallery pages for Renegades, Dare Devils, Dirt Devils and Specialty Acts.  It is just mind boggling how it all comes together.
