Midwest Renegades-Precision Riding Excitement at its Best

In addition to our precision drills, we have
added some specialty acts to our program.
Roman Riding  Vaulting

Originated in ancient Rome from the teams of horses used in chariot racing. The rider performs while standing, sitting, or kneeling with one foot on each horse.

Jenny, Tara, and Heather perform on top Zeke, a Clydesdale/Morgan cross, and Mac, a North American Spotted Draft.

Vaulting is an art as well as a competitive sport. It combines both gymnastics and dance on horseback choreographed to music.

There are six exercises involved in vaulting including the mount, riding seat, flag, mill, scissors, stand, flank and dismount.

Tara is training her 2 young black Percheron horses, Phillipe and Faline, for their act.
